During math period, the students applied their skills of telling the time to figure out the time elapsed between two or more events, as they solved word problems.
Through the novel Front Desk the students review and enhanced their understandings of metaphors and similes. They applied these understandings while writing poems on topics of their choice.
In social studies, the students finalized the forts and, taking the perspective of a tour guide, shared their work products. They reflected over this learning experience considering alternative ways to adjust their work if given more time.
In science, the students have conducted more chemistry experiments and started to learn about the plant parts and needs.
A note has been sent home in regard with the lockdown drill that we have done on Thursday.
