The trip to National Geographic Live has been canceled.
During math, the students have learned how to compare fractions with the same denominator and used this skill to evaluate lunches' healthines.
In writing, everyone worked diligently to create and type their informative paragraphs about animals.
Using the Green Bike, the students started to conduct an experiment investigating the relationship between gears and electricity production.
Please encourage the kids to continue to read for 20 minutes per day.

The students typed their articles about Cappy Smart Elementary and shared their knowledge with their peers.
The students used their drawing skills to represent animals during the summer and winter, by using step by step instructions. They have learned about the animals' adaptations and challenges faced in different environments.
In math, they have learned about fractions and real life applications of this concept while creating and analyzing meals in regard with their healthiness.
Our National Geographic field trip will take place on March 16, 2020. As usual, parent volunteers are needed in order for this great learning experience to happen. Please return the forms as soon as possible.
Parent Teacher Conferences will take place before the spring break. As soon as the system is opening, please take the time to book a time in order to learn about your child academic progress.
