We were very fortunate to have Elder Shirley Hill to work with our students on diverse topic related with the Indigenous way of knowing. We would like to say a big thank you to our School Council, and A + for Energy Grant for the funding this learning opportunity.
In math the students used different ways to represent their understandings of division while solving problems.
In writing we were busy giving feedback in order to improve the paragraphs' quality.
In science, we have learned about electric circuits and electricity applications in our daily lives.
Please encourage your kids to read for 20 minutes per day and to attend to the daily math problem that is being sent home.
